Welcome
Relationships are critical to human existence – family, friendship, co-workers. If we look at the core of successful relationships, there’s one common denominator: respect. At Interrelate, we aim to create respectful relationships across society, developing it in children, enhancing it in adults, nurturing it in grandparents. By helping to build resilience, we are allowing people to have better relationships with others as well as with themselves. What we do revolves around the cycle of life – and we will support you through whatever stage you are at.
What we offer
With multiple sites across NSW, our staff can help you to identify the professional help that best suits your needs from an extensive range of individual services and group programs. We work with individuals (both adults and children), families (together or separated, with acceptance of family diversity) and youth.
Our working relationship with almost 1000 schools enables us to deliver programs that cover bullying, sexuality, puberty and healthy relationships to more than 70,000 children and families. We were the first family service organisation in Australia to provide sexuality education through the Father & Son Welfare Movement in 1926.
Our highly trained presenters deliver a range of programs to assist children and parents to communicate with each other about fundamental emotional and social development issues. We have the acknowledgement of government, education and health authorities to provide relationship education in schools and, most recently, our anti-bullying and cybersafety awareness programs received accreditation by the Office of the eSafety Commissioner.
