Reconciliation Action Plan

Interrelate’s Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) 2016-18 will guide our work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and communities over the next two years.

The development of this RAP was led by Kutanya, our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff reference group, and was the culmination of 18 months of collaboration and consultation with staff and communities across the organisation and has been endorsed by the Board and by Reconciliation Australia.

At Interrelate we recognise that reconciliation is a process, and supporting reconciliation means working to overcome the gap that still exists between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people. Our vision for reconciliation includes ensuring that all of our services and programs can enhance the wellbeing, safety and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and communities and our this RAP will help guide us in making this vision a reality.
